Lưu ý: Write in to somebody/an organization là gửi thư hoặc thông điệp để hỏi, góp ý hay khiếu nại. Trong bầu cử ở Bắc Mỹ, write somebody in là tự ghi tên ứng viên vào phiếu bầu; đây là nghĩa chuyên biệt theo hệ thống bầu cử. Đừng nhầm write in với write down (ghi chép).
